This years Player of the Year Dinner Dance was held in the Orwell Lodge Hotel Function Suite on the 30th of October. The night was a huge success with over 150 members, guests and Hearts Heroes - Past and Present - turning up for this annual event. Throughout the season 03/04 members of the Orwell Hearts had been voting for their players of the season on a weekly basis. With Craig Gordon voted the 'Player of the Season' and Robbie Neilson voted 'young player of the season' .

The day started with our beloved Hearts thumpin' a lively Dundee side 3-0 , this seemed to be the catalyst to a highly enjoyable night. Amongst the guests were our friends from Manchester Hearts and all-time Hearts Greats Freddie Glidden and Henry Smith.

We were also graced on the night by the presence of Craig Gordon, Robbie Neilson and Mark DeVries.
